I have lived on Cape Cod on and off since 1977 but have always returned… The ocean works its magic! As a self-taught watercolorist, I enjoy creating detailed representations of images of Cape Cod and it’s natural beauty. I hope these will invoke a fond memory for those who have also made this place their home, or have summered here and return every year. If you are lucky enough to live here, you eventually breathe with the tides. My studio is in a cottage right on Bass River where I can witness the changing of the tides every day!
I have always loved to paint but not until recently have I been able to indulge in my hobby full time. I attended the University of Connecticut with a major in graphic arts. Eventually my career involved hand drafting and CAD drafting for civil engineering firms. Although Cape Cod watercolors are my subject of choice, I am also an illustrator of children’s books and will occasionally do portraits or custom watercolors.
